Country Living

Country living is a luxury that I always took for granted growing up. I never stopped to appreciate the slow moving lifestyle that could easily be found in East Tennessee. As I grew older I found myself longing for the smell of laundry that dried on a clothesline or the feeling of snapping beans on the porch. I had always had such nostalgia for those things and I could have never guessed that the world would change so drastically and become so busy. There is a need inside of me that has to keep the slow paced country living lifestyle alive in my home. We all have the ability to create the life we want and I choose to teach my children how to turn off the modern world and slip back into a quieter, calmer life of a country home.
