Hi, I’m Sierra!

My husband and I live in East Tennessee with our 3 kids. We have deep rooted ties to our families and the Appalachian Mountains. We are lucky enough to live close to our extended families and they get to play a role in passing down traditions and advice to our kids. Generational living, recipes, remedies, and history are a part of who I am. I am a history teacher turned stay at home mom and micro-baker. This is a space to share some of the things I love most and my goal is to find beauty in the simplicity of every day living and going back to my roots.
